ABOUT

I’m Kayleigh Andrews, the artist behind Kookiwood - where furniture becomes art. I don’t just restore furniture, I reimagine it. Taking forgotten vintage pieces and turning them into bold, high-end statement pieces. Think Art Deco elegance, rich textures, and intricate details - pieces that demand attention and refuse to blend in.

But this wasn’t always my world. Before Kookiwood, I spent eight years as an Intelligence Analyst in the RAF, working behind a screen in a windowless building, feeling uninspired and craving creativity. In 2019, I began transforming furniture as a passion project, drawn to the idea of giving beautifully crafted pieces a new life. By 2021, that passion had become undeniable, and I left the RAF to pursue this full-time.

My work isn’t about following trends or mass production, it’s about exceptional craftsmanship, bold creativity, and furniture that defines a space. Every piece I create is meticulously designed, expertly finished, and built to stand the test of time. The kind of furniture that doesn’t just fill a space but commands it.

My work has been in featured magazines and even showcased at Quinta Del Sordo Art Gallery in the Peak District, reinforcing its place in the world of art-driven interiors. Today, my pieces are sought after by collectors, interior designers, and discerning clients who appreciate individuality, craftsmanship, and artistry.

If you’re looking a piece that’s as bold as you are - something with a story, a soul, and unapologetic personality - then you’re exactly where you need to be.
